Characteristics

Set in the rolling pastures of Ireland's Midlands, Moate Golf Club offers a historic golfing experience dating back to 1900. The 18-hole parkland course is renowned for its unique historical features integrated into the layout, including a medieval Bull Ring at the 6th hole and remnants of the Jacobite war known as the "Soldiers Bunkers." Recent updates, such as the redesigned 9th hole, add modern challenges to the gentle terrain. The clubhouse's "Par 3 Restaurant" provides relaxing views over the 18th green.
