Despite its small size, the island of North Bimini offers plenty of adventure: while daily life in the beach bars of Alice Town is relaxed, the bright blue lagoons invite you to snorkel or dive around sunken shipwrecks. Sun worshippers and anglers will also find their island paradise on dream beaches under palm trees. Those interested in culture can visit the Bimini Museum.

Puerto Costa Maya is a wonderful starting point for exploring the coastal village of Mahahual with its relaxed flair. A few kilometers inland, fascinating evidence of the Maya culture can be discovered amidst tropical nature – such as the well-preserved temple complexes of Chacchoben or Kohunlich with its mask reliefs. The coast beckons with fine, white sand beaches.

Also enchanting is Merida, inviting visitors for strolls with its pastel-colored facades and colonial flair. Off the beaten path, Yucatan surprises with cenotes and wild nature.
