Characteristics
Master architect Pete Dye designed this course in collaboration with PGA TOUR players Steve Elkington and Kelly Gibson. The breathtaking landscape of TPC Louisiana stretches across 250 hectares of wetlands along the Mississippi Delta. This championship golf course meets the highest standards for course conditions and is a magnificent example of the region’s natural habitat. The golf course is part of the Audubon Golf Trail and a proud member of the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Programme.
The course layout features stately cypress and oak trees, as well as numerous water hazards and bunkers. The course boasts more than 100 bunkers and five ponds. There are five tee positions, ranging from 5,121 yards to 7,400 yards from the back tees.

A super golf experience

TPC courses convince not always, but our last round in Louisiana in October 2016 was a AAA - golf experience. We played on a Monday-night lunch on an exciting place with "good" length, varied layouts and fast greens. The fact that the Greens were sanded on the same day, has the speed did not diminish.
