Off the Yucatan Peninsula lies Cozumel, a paradise for beach lovers and divers. The island is known for its colorful underwater world and coral reefs, which Jacques-Yves Cousteau explored. Culturally interested visitors can explore the Mayan ruins of San Gervasio and El Cedral, dedicated to the goddess Ixchel. The long stay offers plenty of time for discoveries.
