Located on the outskirts of Lund, Värpinge Golfklubb offers a distinct ecological golfing experience. Founded in 2001, this 9-hole course features a flat, wind-swept layout reminiscent of an inland links course. Strategic mounds define the fairways, while free-roaming sheep maintain the roughs, replacing chemical treatments. The course is renowned for its firm, fast greens built to USGA specifications. With an on-site farm shop selling cultural grains and a relaxed environment, the club successfully combines challenging sport with genuine sustainability.
