Situated in Munkedal, Torreby Golfklubb is the oldest golf course in the Bohuslän region, having been founded in 1960. The 18-hole layout is meticulously set within a magnificent English-inspired castle park surrounding Torreby Castle, which dates back to 1887. Offering a classic parkland experience with mature trees and undulating fairways, the course provides players with breathtaking views of Gullmarsfjorden, Sweden's deepest fjord. The historic castle also serves as the clubhouse and hotel.

Castle Park

Varied, beautifully landscaped tracks. It's a pity that the grass was very high and wasn't mowed until around noon. Balls were so difficult to see in the tall grass and in the mown piles of grass. Unfortunately, the Birdy Book is very bad, no orientation aids, which would be helpful given the extensive space and some blind holes.
All in all, however, a nice place with a nice Womo parking space and a good restaurant.
