Characteristics
Strömstad Golfklubb holds the title of Sweden's westernmost golf course, offering a unique experience in the heart of the northern Bohuslän landscape. Founded in 1970, this 18-hole course is defined by its dramatic setting where emerald fairways wind between striking granite rock formations. Although relatively short, the hilly parkland layout requires strategic play rather than brute force, with the rocky terrain often bringing errant balls back into play. Thanks to the Gulf Stream, the club enjoys an unusually long season. A clubhouse with a restaurant completes the visit to this seaside golfing destination.

After a long day in the camper, we played another round here in the sunset.
An interesting place that is beautifully integrated into a rocky landscape. The greens were in very good condition and fast.
Friendly reception in the pro shop and a good pitch for overnight stays in the camper right next to the clubhouse.
