Founded in 1906, Southport & Ainsdale is steeped in history, famously hosting the Ryder Cup in 1933 and 1937. Located on England's Golf Coast, the course offers a magnificent test, weaving through coastal dunes and heathland adorned with gorse and heather. James Braid's original design features remain, demanding strategy over power, especially when the Irish Sea breeze picks up. The clubhouse features a dedicated Ryder Cup Room and welcomes visitors to enjoy views over the 18th green without restriction.
