Not quite typical Scottish surprise

The Royal Tarlair GC is an unscheibarer, not well-known golf club in the northeast of Scotland. It is located directly on the coast, almost every beat has a wonderful view of the sea, the seagulls hiss constantly over the square.

Nevertheless - and that's the surprise: this is not a typical links course. None of the usual difficulties: Fescue grass, dunes, blind shots - none of it. As for the architecture, one could almost say, it is a small fine coastal parkland course. The holes are certainly so designed, even if there are no trees defacto.

All in all, this results in a largely unspectacular, but due to the course care (to below a word) - and especially for less advanced golfers - a great and affordable game. Speaking of the most part: Spekatular's then it is indeed once too. At the 13th hole, a par 3 ( "The Clivet") with 152 yards (white), which is played by a sea cliff on a small gorge on another sea cliff - all with an estimated 20 meters difference in altitude. The absolutely spectacular exception on this course, no more and no less!

Incidentally, all of this is available for not even 25 pounds green fee. This gives you a nice little place in a great location, with perfect place maintenance. I played the course in August, when all other links courses were defacto totally dry. The Royal Tarlair presented itself lush green.

Clear recommendation.
