The Cullen Golf Links course was designed by Old Tom Morris in the 1870's. It is a par 63 course with 10 par 3.7 par 4 and one par 5 hole. While the par 3 holes with frequent blind shots over crests, downhill and over the rocks are a lot of fun, the par 4 holes and the par 5 hole are more of a "stopgap". Compared to a number of top courses played (St. Andrews, Carnoustie, North Berwick, etc.) with hard fairways and fast and true greens, this course fell a bit in terms of quality, but at 28 pounds (Twilight tariff) it only costs a tenth and therefore offers very good value for money. It was fun playing this course!

The course stretches along the coast around by a bay, and over and around the cliffs. The first hole is still on the plane. From 2 tea from one safe overcomes 20m from the Green (not visible, Black and white stakes indicate the approximate direction :)) and from the 4th tee you go again one floor above. From 7 tea is then strikes again about 40m down on the plane and then plays the 9th hole back towards the clubhouse. Here then ask yourself two large rocks in the road, which must be converted and transferred.
