The course is very worthwhile, and the fairways and greens are well worth the €280 green fee. (Note: all green fees for links courses in the area have risen dramatically and are becoming increasingly expensive!) The views over the bay are spectacular. The wooden shack at the reception and the restrooms are incomprehensible and unacceptable for the above-mentioned price.
The actual Rosapenna clubhouse is about 4km away!
So, 37th place among the top 100 of the world is incomprehensible. Hence only 4*
It's worth mentioning that we were allowed to start about 40 minutes before our tee time. (Waiting at folding tables with coffee from paper cups was inconsistent with the reputation of the course.) The starter was very funny and friendly.
