Characteristics
Beautifully situated near the village of Las Playitas and set in a volcanic valley which runs down to the Atlantic ocean this 'links style' course has well sculptured greens which are well protected by bunkers, lakes and natural ditches. The sea views, tranquil setting and beautifully manicured greens and fairways make this tricky course a must when visiting Fuerteventura.

Some of the reviews here are a bit unfair. Off 10 handicap I shot 72 with no sat nav guide, but I have played a lot of links golf. I hit driver only 4 times, lasse the very friendly caddy master later told me he only uses it 3 times, on 2 4 and 10.13 is by far the hardest hole, I went into the hazard with a 5 wood. Lasse lays up with a 5 iron but tomorrow I will go with driver. I will probably run into the second hazard but at least my third shot wil be wedge not 7 wood. The greens are excellent due to good staff plus low volume of play. Like links you must hit fairways using an iron or 3 or 5 wood, then nip your irons off with minimal divot. Into the wind which was 25 km the day I played it use a lot more club and punch it low.

Played on December 11th, 2024 on white tees, flight of 2, playing time with cart approx. 3.5 hours without major waiting times.
First of all, we recommend renting a cart, as the course is short (4792 m), but has extreme inclines and paths.
Course condition great, fairways well watered but still hard, greens top but not too fast :-)
Again and again the view of the Atlantic Ocean from the elevated tees - wonderful!
We didn't try any restaurants.
Conclusion: We had a wonderful and varied day of golf!

But: space is good for Fuerteventura, but - like other golf courses on Fuerte - does not stand up to comparison with golf courses on Gran Canaria and Tenerife...
