Nice place but actually not recommended

Very nice, very wavy / hilly links course with a wonderful view of the coast. very challenging to play. as far as the positive.

Unfortunately there is also a long list of defects:
fairways mediocre at best - mowed short (if the lawn has it) and rock hard - constant improvement was the order of the day. the ball therefore easily rolls another 50 meters in all possible directions. precision golf (which is necessary here) = non-existent

Greens nicely undulated and fast, but we often played on the sand rather than on the lawn, which was a maximum of 2 mm high.

A very big shortcoming are the non-existent track descriptions (with a green fee of £125). You play at least half of the holes BLIND and when you hit the tee you have no idea whether it continues straight behind the hill, down to the right or down to the left. basically means running a hundred meters ahead and checking. and because the ball also rolls in an uncontrolled manner in undulating terrain, searching for the ball for a long time is a constant.
It also happened twice that you couldn't see the flag (from the fairway) even 80 meters in front of the green.

this is still exciting: it has very deep bunkers with good sand. But if the bunker is so small that when you stand in the hole there is hardly any room left for the swing... then the architect had a weak moment... and as a player you just declare the ball unplayable :- D

19th hole, quite an acceptable restaurant.

I was there in July 2017. Relevant literature on the place is available. I really enjoyed the round there, even though the place is very difficult. Fantastic views of the sea are included. Who is in the area, should definitely play. Really a dream place!

More is almost impossible

Incredible views, friendly and helpful club manager, friendly pro shop, good food and absolutely fair price.

Leftgolf as it must be. Lanes of the landscape, not reversed. Greens sometimes make you despair, and the movable "obstacles" (cows) on some tracks. This is just fun.

We had a perfect golfing day!
