Known as the "Golf Pearl" of National Park Thy, Nordvestjysk Golfklub holds the distinction of being Denmark's first golf course located within a national park. Situated in the scenic Nystrup Plantation near Thisted, the 18-hole course combines the Bakkedal and Bryghus loops into a challenging Par 69 layout. While not excessively long, the course demands strategic accuracy as it winds through tranquil woodlands and heathland. The golf course is just great for playing. Pure nature. For us it was very demanding... narrow fairways, tees often deep, hilly... but everything with an absolute fun factor... even with 4 hours of continuous rain. Were rarely as wet as after this round.
The secretariat and the lady in the pro shop were very nice and helpful.
We have another game on our list for the next holiday. The place is highly recommended.

A really great place in very good condition! Beautiful tracks in the middle of the forest, relatively narrow and hilly. We had a buggy, which was good. Because the distances between the tracks are sometimes really long. We paid 400 crowns per person, the place is definitely worth it. I would like to play the course again.
