Great course

The golf course is just great for playing. Pure nature. For us it was very demanding... narrow fairways, tees often deep, hilly... but everything with an absolute fun factor... even with 4 hours of continuous rain. Were rarely as wet as after this round.

The secretariat and the lady in the pro shop were very nice and helpful.

We have another game on our list for the next holiday. The place is highly recommended.

Very beautiful! Always my pleasure!

A really great place in very good condition! Beautiful tracks in the middle of the forest, relatively narrow and hilly. We had a buggy, which was good. Because the distances between the tracks are sometimes really long. We paid 400 crowns per person, the place is definitely worth it. I would like to play the course again.

Awesome, Challenging, 5*+

Great place after the renovation work. Unfortunately no changing room and showers (because of the national park). Very friendly reception. You have to have played space more often to do good course management.

Gem

One can only agree with the previous reviews. The long paths between the lanes on the Südplatz were a bit annoying.
The reception and the loving explanation of the course by the staff of the golf club was really positive.
Here you have to play more often to understand the place. With us, the greens were faster than usually in Germany.

Great scenery, great place!

The Nordvestjysk Golf Club is located in the middle of the nature reserve Thy and represents the beauty of nature here perfectly. In particular, the North Course is very hilly, there are always spectacular blows to the valley. The sometimes very narrow tracks are usually lined by pine forest, they are often well undulating. There are some fairway bunkers and water hazards that do not significantly affect the game. The fairways are in very good condition, could be mowed a bit shorter. The greens are very consistent, if only moderately fast (Stimp about 6-7).
It is worth reserving a start time. Paying is done at the vending machine, but the staff willingly help. Also the drinks after the round you pull on the drinks machine, which is completely ok. I can fully recommend this course to anyone who wants to play golf in North Jutland.

A must

This place is breathtaking - in every respect. I have seldom seen anything better, a wonderfully integrated place that is tricky to play and every hole challenges the player. Sensational haircuts, demanding fairways and fast greens - heart, what more do you want. If you do not have an excellent condition you should take a cart or a scooter!!!

Spectacle

This place was worth the long journey! What a spectacular natural scenery and what a good and great golf course!
Not too high, bent by the wind, impenetrable dense coniferous forests line the square.
Sand and wonderful views to the surrounding countryside also ensure good time!
Car without a real slog but recommended at any time!
Actually, I'm going with 5 stars sparingly, but deserves this place it!!!

Pearl for nature lovers

A beautiful space created in the middle of the Thy National Park with its stunning sand dunes and forests of Jutland's west coast. A links course, very difficult to play, narrow lanes, unforgiving rough. Better stay with the iron tee instead of the driver. Scattering is punished by loss of the ball, as you can not find a more ball in the wild nature of the right and left lanes. Buggies do not exist. It is about the place and that is exhausting. Constant ups and downs, some great views from the tee or from the green to the North Sea or the nearby lake. I have played the course at least 10 times now and always find new variations and strategies. It never gets boring. A real insider tip.
The clubhouse is modest and gastronomy in vain but who needs that when golfers play in the beautiful wilderness.
I keep coming back.

Pure Nature

The place is beautifully situated in a dune forest, providing an attractive contrast to many places in the park-like landscape. Through the sometimes quite narrow paths must be played more accurately, otherwise the ball is definitely lost. As far as the course is only partly suitable for beginners. The charm of the place lies not least in the alternation between relatively flat and hilly tracks reductions in the forest with challenging doglegs. The condition of the Paltzes was very good for a natural place. The green fee was very reasonably priced, the administration very simple (self-service). The Secretariat speaks English (not German) and was very helpful. Payment preferably in cash, no credit cards. Club Restaurant - not available or continuously farmed - how many times in Denmark. Place is still highly recommended.
