Characteristics
Located in the scenic landscape of Motala, this club offers a varied 27-hole facility divided into three distinct nine-hole loops: Park, Forest, and Heath. The Park and Forest courses, designed by Douglas Brasier and others, present a traditional challenge with hilly terrain and raised greens. In contrast, the Hed loop, designed by Pierre Fulke and opened in 2007, features a modern moorland character with strategic bunkering. Extensive practice areas, including a short course, and a bistro complete the experience.

Motala Golf Club is an authorized 'Green Card Club' using Swedish Golf Federation materials. Loaner clubs and free balls are included during lesson time. Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance, otherwise half the fee will be charged.

Something for the sporty golfer

Note: for 3 years Motala also has a pay-and-play short course (9 holes), one can quickly go off in between times. The fairways are now grown pretty neat, but the tall grass on the left and right of the fairway not invites you to play!
The actual place is something for golfers with very good condition! Hole 3 is a foretaste of what still belongs to the holes 9,10,11,14,15 and 17 on a... Very beautifully landscaped parkland character, but also between "real Sweden", with a view (hole 4) billowing cornfields, with red wooden houses under blue and white sky.
Each track offers 3 tees and also quite a real challenge for all handicaps. The fairways are sometimes a bit narrow, so only require a very precise game.
New, spacious driving range, nice, cozy club house, with a terrace overlooking the duck pond on 18 Green.
