Lorca Golf Course

Situated in the foothills of the Almenara mountain range, only 10 minutes by car from the historic town of Lorca and the magnificent beaches of Águilas is the only golf course in Murcia running alongside a Protected Natural Park, a special spot where you will find not just 3000 hours of sunlight per year, but also exceptional cultural and gastronomic traditions.

The Resort

Lorca Golf Course was officially inaugurated October 2011, and it has a unique and unrivalled golf course in the Southern Mediterranean Region with all imaginable facilities such as clubhouse, Pro Shop, training school, driving range, putting/chipping green, etc. The resort’s restaurant which wisely combines traditional “Spanish tapas” with modern and sophisticated international recipes is undoubtedly, another important attraction, a place with a charming atmosphere where you can relax and enjoy sitting on the terrace while gazing at a fantastic Mediterranean sunset.

The golf course

The 18 hole golf course, par 71, designed by Dave Thomas has extensive, undulating greens and strategically placed bunkers which provide entertainment and excitement at every turn, with pleasant surprises awaiting the golfer at every hole. Since the official opening day, this golf course has hosted several tournaments, strengthening its position as one of the favorites for professionals and amateurs alike and has also received wide news coverage by the most important regional and national mass media.
