The Grand Hyatt La Manga Club Golf & Spa is located in the region of Murcia between the Calblanque Nature Park and the Mediterranean Sea. The services at the hotel were exceptional. The food in general and additional meals in the afternoon were excellent. Tapas and all drinks were complimentary in the afternoon. The spa was also fantastic.
The golf courses were decent but more like 4 stars. Of course, you have to accept a reduction in the winter season. Nevertheless, it was an excellent holiday all round.

5* luxury hotel; avoid West-Cours

We booked a 2-day hotel stay and a GF for 2 people from December 6th to December 8th. The hotel complex is really beautiful, everything is luxurious, the staff is very interested and friendly.
The room with a pool view was perfectly furnished, nothing was missing. Breakfast was served with all kinds of food in a beautiful room. Everything worked out right away at the golf reception, including booking and pick-up service to the "West Cours".
Speaking of “West Cours”: We wanted to play on the South Cours, but a tournament was scheduled for December 7th on the South and North Cours.
A few comments on the West Course: you can access both courses (South and North) directly from the hotel, and they were in excellent condition. We were able to look at them from the balcony of our room and also inspect holes 1 and 18 as we walked past.
West-Cours was about 4 km from the hotel and could be reached by hotel taxi.
We booked our GF at 11:00 a.m. and arrived about 15 minutes early. There were about 12 flights gathered at hole 1, blocking the way to the first hole. Everything was uncoordinated, no organization. However, we were able to start at 11 a.m. with a couple from Finland, 8 minutes after the previous one had started. So, we were constantly tied to a waiting loop for about 13 holes and finished the round of 18 holes in 5 hours. There was a tough start on Saturday, probably because the other two courses were full.
Condition of the "West Cours": this course is very difficult to play, not suitable for tournaments; hardly anyone can reach/play their HP there. Almost all the "fair ways" were slanted, hard and partly without grass. Many were also very narrow, bordered by wild nature and pine trees. If there was grass, it was not even 2mm high and very thin. The length of the golf balls was difficult to control and 70% of them ended up in the moat or out of bounds. The GF are usually slanted too, so putting was not easy. Our flight lost about 10 balls. We have never played a course like this before.
Our advice: before booking GF here, you should inform yourself about the booked place.

How do I book my trip online?

Can I cancel or rebook my trip?
Yes, you can cancel at any time. Up to 35 days before departure of your trip cancellation is free of charge for you, unless there are other cancellation conditions listed on your offer and invoice. We have a few hotels that do not offer free cancellation when using an early bird discount. However, more over 90 percent of our partner hotels allow free cancellation up to 35 days before arrival. After that, staggered cancellation fees apply.
