Located just 15 minutes from Stockholm City, Lidingö Golfklubb holds a special place in history as the site of Sweden's first 18-hole course, originally opened in 1926. This slightly undulating parkland and forest layout, designed in a classic "Old English" style, weaves through a scenic residential district. A major renovation in the late 2000s modernized the playing surfaces, introducing challenging, firm greens with tricky run-off areas. The club offers extensive practice facilities and a welcoming restaurant, combining deep-rooted tradition with modern golf standards.
