Characteristics
Lemvig Golfklub is set in an open, undulating fjord landscape that evokes the feel of a classic seaside course. The 18-hole layout offers spectacular views over the Lem Vig bay and demands strategy as wind and slopes often come into play. Despite the hilly terrain, fairways are wide with very few blind shots. A unique feature of the course is the flock of sheep grazing in the rough, helping keep it playable. Excellent practice facilities, including a multi-level chipping green, and a clubhouse restaurant complete the visit.

Played 18 holes in August 2021 or canceled after 14 holes. The speed of the flights in front of us was hair-raising slow. The place is quite nice, but falls behind neighboring clubs like Struer, Trehoje or Henne in terms of varied design. Somehow it's always relatively monotonous back and forth, with the tracks being quite wide. The railways are varied in terms of height difference. The fairways and greens were in good condition.

Spending the night with electricity with the camper is good, costs 100 kroner (approx. 15 euros), you are close to the city and quiet. The place is great!! Great views of the green, the water and Lemvig, challenging and original with lightning-fast greens. The wind is a constant challenge, but at some point it can be planned. We were absolutely thrilled. Fairways, greens and everything in great condition is just the "reward" for all the rain that it has in Denmark. Perhaps the most beautiful place in 2020 for us.
