Located in the heart of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Las Palmeras Golf is the first urban golf course in the Canary Islands. This 18-hole Pitch & Putt facility offers a unique layout divided into two distinct styles: the first nine holes feature a classic British design, while the back nine reflects American architecture, highlighted by the signature 15th hole with its challenging island green. The club also boasts a timber-laminated, two-tiered driving range that is floodlit for night practice, alongside the Triple Bogey restaurant.

The golf school offers courses for individuals and groups, including initiation and improvement classes. Special programs for children aged 4-16, running from September to June, with summer courses in July and August. Subsidies from the Canary Islands Golf Federation are available. A lovely very short par three course

Whilst the average golfer will only need three or four clubs to produce a under par performance on this course it was still very enjoyable. I came across this course whilst out walking. The next day went along and paid 25 euro for a round and the hire of a putter, sand wedge, 9 iron & 8 iron. Only took an hour to complete on my own but really enjoyed it!

The hidden 18-hole course only has par 3s, but it's still fun to play.
Tees only from mats, greens relatively small, some deep bunkers and water comes into play several times in the second 9 holes.
There are 2 different tees per hole, how these were mixed is a mystery to me, I've always played from the rearmost (!?) Tees.
Course maintenance worthy of 2 stars, greens relatively slow, fairways close together.
Playing once is okay!
Secretariat and members very friendly and helpful, Gastro "Tripple Bogey" small but thank God the beer was cold!

We played here in early October 2015 and were actually pleasantly surprised. The course is short (a pure pitch and put course with only par 3 and only two holes over 100 meters long), but the system is versatile and with bunkers and water hazards at sometimes quite narrow fairways quite challenging. Although The condition was not great, but absolutely worth a visit at a price of 25 euros, especially if one takes into account the otherwise horrendously high prices of other golf clubs in Gran Canaria. Here is price / performance in order and to practice the short game is the place to play well. Power in any case to exercise more fun than on the Range.
