Characteristics
Only about a 19 minutes' drive away from Cologne's city centre, this course offers golf even without a club membership. The 18-hole course with par 72 offers all comforts for a few hours of great golf: a golf range, pro shop, private coaching, group coaching, taster courses, golf for kids, evenings where golfing rules are explained and a restaurant. The Golf Club Ford Köln e. V. has its home on the same course.

The reception was very friendly and pleasant. The fairways were all in excellent condition, and the greens were fine; unfortunately, the fairways weren't particularly varied. We didn't use the restaurant.

I was on the course at Kölngolf for the first time in 2021, and even then I really liked the course :-) .
Due to the conversion and the new sprinkler system, the course has gained tremendously, and you will find a lush green fairway even in dry weather periods, which is by no means a matter of course. !!
Overall, the condition of the entire facility is really great. (Kudos to the greenkeeper team).
In the reception/pro shop, the employees are extremely helpful and competent.
After the round you can relax on the clubhouse terrace with a view of the 18th green.
There are actually not many club restaurants in Germany that I know that can shine with such a variety of food and drinks, and at a great price-performance ratio. :-)
The quality of the food is particularly noteworthy here... the chef can do something...
In summary, I can only say that a visit to the Cologne golf course is always worthwhile, whether to play golf or to eat something delicious. (will not be the last time here) ... keep it up :-)
