Keilir Golf Course is a links course located only 15 minutes from Reykjavik away. The course is divided into two very different courses. The front 9 holes guide golfers through lava fields meanwhile the back 9 are much more links type, played on a small peninsula with spectacular views of Snaefellsjokull glacier, the Atlantic ocean and Hafnarfjordur town where the golf course is located. The golf course is considered by many golfers to be one of the best 18 hole golf course in the country.

First green fairways between lots of black lava. Unfortunately, ugly views of factory buildings. The second 9: beautiful, challenging holes by the sea.
