2027/05 Albrecht & Friends: Praia d’el Rey Marriott Golf & Beach Resort

Dear Friends,

some destinations are so beautiful that you simply have to return. After our Albrecht & Friends trip together in 2025, we are heading back to the Portuguese Atlantic coast and Praia d’El Rey in May 2027.

And this time, we already know the area very well: we know the golf courses, have found the right restaurants for our evenings together and know which excursions in the region are particularly worthwhile. We would like to use this experience to make our second edition even more enjoyable.

Our home for the week will once again be the 5-star Praia d’El Rey Marriott Golf & Beach Resort, directly on the Atlantic Ocean. Seven nights including breakfast and five rounds of golf await you. We will play Praia d’El Rey twice, West Cliffs twice and Royal Óbidos once – three exceptional golf courses offering plenty of variety, both in terms of scenery and play.

Of course, the shared experience is an essential part of the trip. We will start the week with a Welcome Cocktail with finger food, enjoy a dinner at the Clubhouse including local drinks together on Tuesday, and end the trip on Friday with our Farewell Dinner including local drinks.

After three days of golf, we have deliberately planned a free day on Wednesday. Those who wish can simply enjoy the resort and the Atlantic Ocean – or explore the region with us. We will be happy to organise some great excursions and culinary experiences for you, as by now we know exactly which places are worth visiting!

We look forward to five fantastic rounds of golf, Portuguese cuisine, old and new Friends, and a relaxed week together on the Atlantic coast.
