Since 1978 the Golf Course "Auf der Lausward" has been known as Germany's first public golf course. Since the 1rst January 1997 the GSV Düsseldorf has managed the course on its own initiative. Here, "Auf der Lausward" a totally mixed public meets to play golf together. The social intercourse is uncomplicated and friendly. Beautiful range with a view of the Rhine, nice clubhouse and friendly staff.
The course has surprisingly long fairways, the greens of which are often well defended by bunkers and are elevated.
It is a real pleasure to always play along the Rhine and accept the challenges of the sporting course. You can tee off with the driver surprisingly often, overall the fairways are not even as narrow as you might expect on such a somewhat compressed course. Overall always happy.

When I was first there I had not played for a long time and thought that if I swing it loosely I could play my hybrid. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The first blow went online.
