Embedded in the hilly landscape and surrounded by forest, they offer long lengths, hanging fairways, demanding island greens and artificial lakes that are connected with each other through several water courses and water falls.

Where do I even begin? The first nine holes at the horse racing track—all the tee boxes—consisted of nothing but sand and a few tufts of grass. This was the case for all 18 holes, and I doubt there was ever anything decent there. What we found particularly awful was having a great tee shot and then having to search for my ball on the fairway because the grass was so high you could barely see it. Well, elsewhere it's the secondary rough. But what we found truly appalling was calling ahead and booking for four people, only to find no one there to tell us that all the greens were aerated and sanded. Putting was practically impossible—that's just unacceptable. The second nine holes are considerably more interesting, but even there, proper maintenance is lacking. All in all, very disappointing. There will definitely be no second visit!

We played the nine holes within the racecourse as a quick after-work round after work. After a friendly welcome in the pro shop, a somewhat long walk from the parking lot, and a bucket of balls, we headed straight to the round. (No changing room?) The course is interestingly laid out within the boundaries of the racecourse; the hedges/jumping obstacles are built into the fairway, and the occasional water hazard juts out in front of the green, providing a challenge.
The path to the next tee was not always marked by arrows, so if you were unfamiliar with the area you had to look at the tee board to see where to go after the green.
During the first play, some holes were a bit difficult to assess, but for the most part, it was easy to see where to go. The fairways were well-maintained, but the greens were unfortunately a bit pockmarked. Outside the fairways, the moles had gone wild in places.
A nice round at a very fair price, we will certainly come back to play the complete 18 holes
