The 18-hole championship course is situated in the middle of nature in Düsseldorf-Hubbelrath. More show than substance, the golf course unfortunately does not live up to the self-imposed expectations (World of Leading Golf Europe Member, international top-class golf course). Very unkempt, poorly mown "hacker meadow", some paths are dangerous, unkempt driving range, no comparison to the GC Hubbelrath opposite. Arbitrarily calculated green fee (on Saturday sometimes 89.00, sometimes in the same group slightly later 95.00), overpriced for the course, but otherwise friendly office.
Restaurant with a nice atmosphere, very friendly service, plentiful and good food, but payment is only cashless, tips only in cash. Obviously cost-optimized management.

The imposing clubhouse has already been described here by previous reviewers. The reception was friendly and service oriented. The fairways are all exciting and challenging from a golfing point of view, but at the same time fair despite a few "blind" shots. Extreme differences in height also make the course a sporting challenge and always offer great views of the really beautiful nature. After all the rain this summer (I played the course on 8/13/23), it's quite muddy in places and the bunkers are in water. Actually understandable, but then actually a bit too expensive for the called green fee.

We were really looking forward to the place. A place that has beautiful tracks, is very varied and interesting to play. The condition is poor. Scruffy haircuts, and so much weed (daisies) that you find your balls hard in the middle of the fairway.
Very muddy after long rainy days, but no one can do anything about that.
