Characteristics
The location of the golf course at the outskirts of Kempten combines vicinity to the centre and breathtaking nature and quietude. Since July 2007 the teeing hut at the new driving range has been open. The driving range has over 18 tees. Since the beginning of July 2006, 9 fairways and natural greens are open to the public. In the course of the season 2007 the individual holes will be developed and will most likely be completed at the end of 2007.

Natural golf

After sightseeing on Saturday, November 8,2025, we, both handicappers (11), played a 9-hole round without a tee time reservation. The fairways are naturally integrated into the landscape and run interestingly over a hill. Playing on slopes requires skill, as does strategy on the doglegs. Due to the autumnal dampness and thanks to consulting the hole descriptions at the tee, the balls rolled almost imperceptibly down the slopes. The tees and fairways were mowed, but the greens were already bumpy from winter. We recommend this course for a quick round with a good dose of fun.

Normal fairways are actually only the 1 and 7-9 and they are boring, the views of the mountains don't help either.

We visited this place and paid a whopping €40 for 9 holes. We found the fairways to be in good condition, but the greens were not in the best condition. The tracks here are usually sloping and hilly, which requires a player to be very accurate when teeing off.
At hole 3, women's tee, the hammer came: a ball knocked off tee 2 (150m away) hit our bag, 1m from my wife without any warning. A golfer later apologizes to us. Here the club failed to install a safety net around the 3rd tee! This is a common practice at other clubs to protect players from ricochets.
Now comes the worst: we were walking on lane 8, about 200 m away from the men's tee and suddenly a ball flies 0.5 m past my head; "Slanted shot" fired by a lady on lane 7. The lanes are close together with no tree or other separating device between them.
From my point of view, the G-Platz is not recommended for safety reasons if you want to leave it unharmed.
We won't be coming back to play golf!
