The Vienna Süssenbrunn Golf Club is only 20 minutes by car from Vienna's city center. The narrow fairways and the well-defended greens of the 18-hole Links course are not always easy to hit, even on days with no wind. Only the final holes 17 and 18 offer a bit more excitement.
The par 72 course, 5,897 m long from the yellow tees, plays quite easily if you can avoid the many bunkers and bunker areas.
Due to the heatwave, the fairways are extremely hard, resulting in good roll. The fairways themselves aren't great, with many different types of grass, bare patches, and some areas with very little grass growth. The bunkers are well-maintained and visually appealing, but the sand quality varies.
Greens are true to the track but somewhat slow, undulation not excessive!
