Fantastic experience and lovely greens

I have been playing regularly at Bockfliess for quite a while now and it never gets old. The best bang for your buck near Vienna. I highly recommend this challenging course to anyone interested in visiting Vienna and playing 18 holes.

As mentioned above, I'm giving it five stars because I think it's great that there's still the opportunity to play golf for a reasonable price. In return, I can then do without certain cost drivers. There is no range here, no restaurant, you go there to play golf. There is a toilet and shower anyway, and these even come with towels, everything was fine for me. More such concepts, take away the elitist demeanor of sport and make it financially possible for more people!
But of course, all this only makes sense if the space fits. And he does. Very good condition, the greens acceptably fast for Central Europe. Bunkers that are quite a challenge, from time to time water or water stuck thicket and quite a lot of off. I found the place quite demanding. Fairways are often far away from yellow and you need very straight and long drives on some holes (of course, actually always anyway...). When it winds a lot, like me, it's not that easy and unfortunately two or three balls were gone.
I have to say I had two perfect days of golf at this facility.

The course is beautifully laid out and really varied, some holes between the ponds, other holes are pleasantly shady in the forest. The "Amen Corner" is modeled on the hole in Augusta and offers a really interesting challenge.
No driving range available, next to the beautiful putting and chipping green are 2 tee boxes with nets to import.
No secretary no club restaurant, booking and payment only online. Drinks and snacks are conveniently available in vending machines.
