Super day, wonderful course

Played 18 holes at Heidelberg-Lobenfeld last week, visiting Heidelberg.
Wonderful course, very good condition, greens challenging, each hole offers something different but fit together as 18 holes perfectly.
The course is demanding but I liked it. Spectacular views from around the course. The rough had been cut but could be a bit heavy in summer.
First cut from fairway could also be a bit shorter - A 22 handicapper needs a bit of help sometimes!!
Overall - loved it! Friendly people, friendly staff and I didn't want to leave the terrace with the view across the course. As they say in German "herrlich"

The Heidelberg-Lobenfeld Golf Club is a truly special place, nestled on the edge of the Odenwald forest, surrounded by beautiful nature and tranquility; every round feels like a holiday. Add to that a course in truly superb condition – kudos to our greenkeeping team for the near-perfect conditions.
The entire team in the club secretariat and on the board also ensures that you feel comfortable with their warmth and competence.
And after the round? Head to the La Perla restaurant – delicious food and that breathtaking view of the landscape from the terrace. What more could you want? A place to golf, enjoy, unwind, and feel good.

Great location and challenging course

I've played there several times and have never been disappointed. Almost every hole presents a challenge, which makes it incredibly interesting. I recommend a golf cart or at least an electric trolley. The club has done an excellent job of resolving the issues with too much or too little water.
