Characteristics
The mostly level terrain is lined with sand dunes, which are a few hundreds years old, and framed by dense beech forest in the south and the west. The view from the east looks over the fields and reaches as far as Heidelberg and the Odenwald. The population of old trees adds a special charm to the Par-71 course and allows for a pleasant game even in the mid-summer heat.
Although the course has no water hazards, bunkers are protecting the testing greens.

Very quiet place in the forest with potential

Played the course during a tournament in mid-July and let me tell that it was formerly a place of Americans (or Canadians) and it was very difficult to adapt the old building law (= none at all) to the new conditions and conservation conditions.
It is very well done.
Place is located about 2 km from the last Hockenheimringkurve in the middle of the forest, offers wide tracks and almost always a fairway carpet of the finest!
2 tracks, however, were literally pressed into the system (we still need PAR 4) - but OK!
Practice area is under all cannon (wooden balls, mat and tight), but it is vigorously worked on something new!!! It can not suddenly be anything like a 1.
The clubhouse has from the outside (wanted!) Armycharne, but inside is great. Very beautiful Santär- and changing area.
Food is very good, the service of young women apparently organized for the tournament unbeatable. They're up to speed!

Every track is just straight to play, that's it! Little bunker and no water or other obstacles.

In summer, the trees provide cooling shade and you can feel the benefit of the trees.
Although there is a little hidden practice area, a putting green and a small driving range, but these two training facilities offer little for a challenging workout of all clubs.
