The site was in very good condition during our visit.
The design of the fairways is exceptional – boredom is definitely not an option. Where else do you find three island greens?
The service in the restaurant was very friendly - the food (schnitzel with fries and salad) was very good and rounded off the beautiful day of golf.

We played the course with friends yesterday and loved it.
The par 5s are a real challenge, with some over 500 meters from yellow for the men. The layout is interesting and varied.
The reception staff were very friendly and always good for a joke. The course was very well maintained; of course, there were occasional droppings from the pond's feathered inhabitants on the fairway, but no more so than anywhere else.
Other players friendly and relaxed.
For me, the course is one of the top 5 of the 130 courses I have played in Germany.

I played the course again after a really long time because it has a beautiful, varied layout. We were really impressed by the way it was maintained, with fast greens. I found the fairways, which were very dirty, repulsive. It's surprising that the greens weren't affected. So if you like playing in feces, this is the place for you. I don't know of any other course in Schleswig-Holstein that is as affected. The bunkers were mostly filled with new sand. Unfortunately, they are covered in footprints, as many golfers consider hooking unnecessary. Thanks for the unsportsmanlike conduct. But the course can't be blamed for that.

We're a very small team that maintains the course, and with more than 30 hectares of fairways and rough, it's unfortunately impossible for us to remove all the goose droppings. Of course, we do this daily on the tees and greens.
Since we have several water hazards and the geese use these sections of the course to breed at this time of year, a certain amount of contamination from goose droppings is unavoidable on a few holes, but this is always removed by regular mowing of the fairways.
At the end of the day, golf is still a sport that takes place in harmony with flora and fauna and that is why we love it.
It's a shame that you had such a negative experience and that it has so drastically affected your rating of the place.
