Nestled between Hengelo and Enschede, Golfclub Driene offers a unique historical experience. Founded in 1926, it is one of the Netherlands' oldest clubs, set within a lush 31-hectare estate. The 9-hole parkland course is defined by the scenic Twente landscape, where ancient trees and narrow fairways demand precision over power. Despite its compact size, it provides a technical challenge for all levels. Driene is located in an upscale residential area between Enschede and Hengelo. On the drive you don't suddenly think of an ancient 9-hole parkland course, but you do!
Old thatched roof clubhouse, not too long but beautiful, well-kept parkland / forest lanes! If you are looking for a quick lap in Enschede, off to Driene!
