Characteristics
This new golf course with a spacious driving range with roofed tees and additional training possibilities is situated in the middle of the southern part of the area Dithmarschen, in a unique heath and hedgerow landscape, at the edge of the nature preserve at the Kleve (the former steep coast). You can play varied 18 holes (par 72) with an overall length of 6 025 m on the 18 original fairways.
In addition to the Kleve Course you will enjoy the 9 holes of the public WTW Hopen Course.

A construction site in 08/2025…..🫣

We wanted to play the course in a standard, regular style because of the good reviews and happened to have a look around the day before. However, we later canceled the tee time we had booked through Campo. The course is quite remote.
The motorhome parking spaces (currently building materials warehouse) are at least 200 m away from the clubhouse on foot, and a railway line is also nearby.
There is currently extensive renovation work going on there; the clubhouse area basically resembles a large construction site…🫣
Some fairways were also torn up and drainage systems installed.
Here you can only play with “better laying”.
Unfortunately, there is no information about the aforementioned restrictions on the club's website; even after contacting the club office by phone, no mention was made of the above restrictions...🤔
It may become a nice course again someday, perhaps even next season, but we have decided to play somewhere else.
So be careful and be sure to ask the club about any restrictions before booking a tee time…!!

Club secretariat, marshal, restaurant and greenkeeping. The club is impressive in all areas. The service was outstanding. Everyone was really friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was familial. Despite heavy rain the night before, the course was in very good condition. The fairways are varied and challenging, the rough is forgiving. The greens, which are sometimes more undulating and often well protected, require a lot when approaching and putting. The landscape of the course is also impressive with its old trees, large bunkers and water hazards. We will definitely be back and would be happy to come back.

We played the course in August 2018. Despite the extreme dryness and heat, the place was in good condition. The place also offers for low hcp. Players some challenges. Overall, however, here also "recreational golfers" cope. Wide fairways and a short mowed rough increase the fun / and score factor. The prevailing family atmosphere on the grounds (Secretariat, Marshall, Gastro) is really very pleasant. As a guest you feel very welcome. We will gladly come again...
