Characteristics
The baroque castle of Piesing is surrounded by an 18-hole course on three terraces with streams, lakes, ponds, and hollows, demanding golfers to make use of their whole range of skills.
Under fair, sportsmen-like circumstances, the game can be controlled well over 18 holes.
In addition, the Falkenhof 9-hole course, which was integrated into the characteristic meadowland of the river Inn, provides a challenge as well as a very relaxing location.

The golf club has 2 golf courses, 18-hole Schloss Piesing and 9-hole Falkenhof.
This is about the course “Falkenhof” (attended at the end of June 2023):
The 9-hole golf course is designed as a parkland course. This is located in an idyllic location at the end of a cul-de-sac and welcomes its guests with a long avenue.
All tea boxes were modeled slightly raised, as a platform. All courses are surrounded by rows of trees. The first holes run around the driving range. There is a special feature on hole 4: men play it as a par 4, women as a par 5. Therefore, the women's tee is further back and the men, untypically, tee off a little further forward. The course ends beautifully with the green behind a pond with a water fountain. After this course you will pass the clubhouse again.
The layout of the “Back 5” is even more interesting. Hole 5 has a 90° dogleg, followed by a par 4 where the men's tee is further back. Here you have to drive directly across the corner of a grain field. The following courses are visually very beautifully designed; ponds and slight doglegs come into play again.
The golf course is in absolute peace. The banks of the Inn and Alz are in sight. The gastronomy at the golf course offers classic golf course dishes in a rustic atmosphere.

A very nice, well-maintained parkland course on the border with Austria with reasonable trees that can disturb one or the other ball flight. But don't worry, you can get along playfully under the trees. The fairways are quite wide, from time to time they are narrowed in individual places by targeted trees. Water hazards, whether yellow or red, are common. If you have a ball fishing rod, you will usually find your ball there. Most importantly, the course has no inclines and is level. You can play a relaxed one here without a cart or e-trolley.

The golf course presents itself with beautifully designed fairways, partly separated by rough, but mostly by smaller rows of trees. Pleasantly wide fairways promote a relaxed game of golf. Some of the lanes run parallel, so that balls that have been thrown from the neighboring fairway can be brought back into play. The greens are also very large to match the fairways. Here one or the other long putt is waiting to be holed.
Other ponds have recently been beautifully bordered with stones, which gives the golf course a further attractive look.
There is also a well-stocked Pro Shop, which is rarely found on golf courses.
