It's a real shame what has become of this beautiful, diverse course. The greens appear to have been destroyed by fungus. The fairways are long and largely unmown. The overall condition of the course seems abysmal. A small green fee won't help. I think the downward spiral is rampant at this club as well. The question is, how long will it last? A shame!

We were there in June 2025. The greens weren't suitable for putting (too many holes, too slow, poorly maintained). The fairways were also poorly mowed/mown too high. A course in the North German lowlands with water as a challenging element. On the wide fairways you can also find tees that have been blown away by the wind. Moderate maintenance condition, shabby tee areas, unkempt bunker. The greens have not been mowed for a long time. As a result, they had different long grass and the length of the putts was difficult to estimate. The balls never follow the track. The second 9 consist predominantly of doglegs, with lane 17 as a double dogleg being the highlight. The geese produce significantly more droppings than the space can biologically process.
