Characteristics
Situated south of the district of Jena-Münchenroda, the course was set up on a beautiful terrain. In general, the course is characterised by a slightly undulating terrain populated by a plethora of trees and bushes. The range, that was set up in a spacious manner, features an equally spacious training course with 20 teeing grounds.
The clubhouse offers an indoor facility (Trackman).

I'm actually a fan of small provincial courses, so I'm having a hard time with the rating and don't give 2 stars but just 3. But first things first...
Clubhouse looks great, but was closed when I visited.
Range OK, remaining practice facilities rather small but OK.
Average scenic but some nice views. The first seven lanes are rather flat back and forth, the most interesting are the 8 and 9 - so save energy for the finale!
The maintenance condition is critical: tees partially totally dried up, fairways more like short rough (type of grass?), greens partially already with dry damage, but still OK.
