This golf course near the beautiful city Carcassonne offers undulating ground and a lot of surprises and difficulties. A small rivers crosses the whole course ans additional water hazards and bunker demand a technically filed game. Especially hole 9 is noteable.

The golf school is for ages 7-17, offering 1-hour weekly lessons on Wednesdays or Saturdays in small groups. Flag tests are conducted quarterly on the course. Annual fee is 310 EUROS, with unlimited course access upon obtaining the green card.

Less than 10 minutes from the old walled city of Carcassonne, this is a good test of golf. The course is very well manicured with splendid fairways and excellent greens. The layout is classic parkland with some very interesting elevation changes. Of particular note is the 9th. A short par 3 that drops over a stream into a very narrow green. The greens overall are top class. Fairly receptive and they run true. Good bunkering, water hazards, and some sharp doglegs make this a challenging track. If you are amongst the 4 million or so people that visit Carcassonne each year bring your clubs and give this course a go.

Very friendly and helpful reception in the secretariat. It starts at 8 a.m. in the morning. All fairways have been watered early in the morning. Track one can scare you - but it's not that bad. Then it goes to a high plateau. then wonderfully on the beautifully angegten golf course. Despite the persistent high summer temperatures, we find well-kept greens and fairways. Here you can also play well-groomed golf in midsummer.
There are no five star sanitary facilities, but everything is clean and tidy.
We'd love to come back!!

Played the course on a windy day in mid-September which didn't make this course any easier.
Hole 1.9 and 18 very interesting. Especially at wind force 5 and more...
The par 3 holes are all of a high standard.
