Very enjoyable

Less than 10 minutes from the old walled city of Carcassonne, this is a good test of golf. The course is very well manicured with splendid fairways and excellent greens. The layout is classic parkland with some very interesting elevation changes. Of particular note is the 9th. A short par 3 that drops over a stream into a very narrow green. The greens overall are top class. Fairly receptive and they run true. Good bunkering, water hazards, and some sharp doglegs make this a challenging track. If you are amongst the 4 million or so people that visit Carcassonne each year bring your clubs and give this course a go.

Wonderful!

Very friendly and helpful reception in the secretariat. It starts at 8 a.m. in the morning. All fairways have been watered early in the morning. Track one can scare you - but it's not that bad. Then it goes to a high plateau. then wonderfully on the beautifully angegten golf course. Despite the persistent high summer temperatures, we find well-kept greens and fairways. Here you can also play well-groomed golf in midsummer.
There are no five star sanitary facilities, but everything is clean and tidy.
We'd love to come back!!

Interesting place

Played the course on a windy day in mid-September which didn't make this course any easier.

Hole 1.9 and 18 very interesting. Especially at wind force 5 and more...
The par 3 holes are all of a high standard.
Place condition was ok.

Imposing and beautiful

Hole one, a dogleg up the hill, impressed. Who is the top will be rewarded with a very nice place which is well maintained and offers some great views of the snowy peaks of the Pyrenees. Sporty it is fair that brisk greens require concentration, but he has repeatedly called for the deeper greens (9.18) much precision in the face-off. Club Restaurant offers respectable quality at reasonable prices. Changing rooms are still viable. Who wants sophisticated it rises in the Domaine d'Auriac from his starred restaurant. In the family-run establishment, it really was not missing anything.

Challenge

The 1st tee, just below the restaurant terrace, belies the remaining holes. After having overcome the steep face after the hit, the golf course is on a magnificent plateau with beautiful tree stocks. The place is very well maintained and the greens are nice and fast. A true championship course. The long tracks have space for the Drive and at the shorter holes is required precision.
The restaurant is modest and the locker room is not very apetitlich. The place deserves 5 stars.

Beautiful views, exciting place

Even if hole 1 looks a bit weird, what you play it, play is pleasant with very nice views of the surrounding countryside. The course assumes a non-breath is but designed seriously. Other points of interest determines a high-light.
