Characteristics

Asportive course, which appeals to both beginners and advanced golfers likewise. The fairways sidle through forests and hills, little creeks and lakes form natural water hazards.

Challenging

There is no doubt that this is a challenging course. Natural obstacles creates intrigues sought after. Sometimes fairways are not in the best shapes, many times due to wild boares. Overall an experience to be made.

Great facility

We spent a week's golfing holiday at the resort and were very satisfied. The three 9-hole courses can be combined in any way, offering plenty of variety. The Blue and Yellow courses are quite challenging and very diverse. The Red (Old Course) is unfortunately not in the best condition, but it's still perfectly suitable for a quick round to finish off the day.
The excellent condition of the course deserves special mention. After a long summer, the fairways, greens, and tees were superb to play on thanks to the Bermuda grass.
Everyone at the resort is very friendly. The accommodations are lovely. The restaurant is upscale, but completely unsuitable for vegetarians.

Holiday golf with small traces of rain

We spent our golf holiday at the Foresteria in the Colline del Gavi at the beginning of October 2025, playing mainly the yellow and blue 9 holes. Dogs are very welcome on the course, in the Foresteria, and in the restaurant.

Compared to our visit in June, the weather had left some traces – some bunkers were in need of repair, and some paths and bridges were slightly tilted. However, the fairways were playable, and, especially pleasingly, the greens on the yellow course were seeded with a new type of grass and are already looking quite attractive.

The hilly course with its interesting doglegs over ditches offers no boredom, even when played repeatedly.

The friendly reception staff, the brand-new electric cars in excellent condition, and the regional Piedmontese cuisine in the restaurant (limited but always freshly prepared) round out the overall package.

A special tip: Pro Luca offers first-class lessons in Italian or excellent English.

The Foresteria, the nearby driving range, service, and restaurant significantly enhance the course – a fine golf package for those seeking peace and quiet away from the bustling city.
