Characteristics
The mostly broad fairways, surrounded by typical heath, also offer beginners the chance for good results. Golf gem on the A1

The beautiful 9-hole course was optimized in many areas in 2022. In June 2023 we found an excellently maintained facility. One senses immediately that the members are committed with a lot of heart and soul. Hard to beat in terms of friendliness: the marshal welcomed us as guests at lane 1 (secretariat was closed) and invited us to sit at the table with members after the round.
The timeless design is reminiscent of the "golden golf course design age", i.e. courses by Harry S. Colt or Bernhard von Limburger. Tees from forest aisles onto fairways that open up and initially seem quite wide. Wavy fairways, elevated greens and cleverly placed bunkers characterize the challenge of the course. Away from the fairways in the forest you have a pretty good chance of finding balls and chipping them back. The annoying search in the rough is completely eliminated here. On hot days there is enough soothing shade.
The clubhouse with gastro (very friendly gastro chef) in Sweden house style reinforce the hospitable and down-to-earth atmosphere.
For the rest, the permanent background noise of the A1 and federal highway didn't bother us, since it was more of a continuous sound carpet.

Played on 10/25/2016. The mostly flat 9-hole course (PAR 36) with driving range is located right between the A1 motorway and a main road. Unfortunately, with the corresponding noise.
