Spectacular view, good course

A spectaculat setting on a plateau high in the mountains with stunning views. Two different nines with the first in quite tight forest and the back nine out in the open. In good condition and a fair test. In our trip in the Bolzano region it would rate quite highly. Sparse pro shop but excellent food.

A Great Course - But

My wife and I played this course this summer and found the layout and condition to be excellent. The views are breathtaking and the staff were friendly and courteous. I would recommend it to anyone who plays and is in the area. There was however a downside to our day. The rental clubs we had to pay for would not have made it in a garage sale of junk. They were odds and end which they must have picked up from used club sales after anything good had been sold. It would not hurt them to at least put in a couple of sets of good rental clubs for visitors who may want to take advantage of what is a hidden jewel.

A real hole-in-one experience!

Match day: Bright sunshine and a pleasant 23 degrees – perfect weather for a round on a course that makes more than just the golfer's heart beat faster.

From the moment you arrive, it's clear that this is the perfect all-round hotel. The reception is friendly and efficient, and the small shop offers just the right things—no unnecessary frills, but everything you might have forgotten.

The newly constructed driving range is a real highlight: modern Trackman boxes are available free of charge – a dream for technology fans and anyone looking to specifically improve their game. The putting green is large enough for a leisurely warm-up.

The front nine runs idyllically through the forest, with beautifully manicured fairways nestled between mature trees and charming water hazards. Precision is key here – anyone who hits the driver wildly will end up among the trees faster than they'd like. A course that's challenging but not overwhelming.

The back nine opens up the panorama – expansive views, spectacular elevation changes, and truly memorable signature holes. Anyone who doesn't pull out their camera at least once here has definitely lost their eye for beauty.

After the round, a real culinary birdie awaits: This small Italian restaurant impresses with surprisingly delicious cuisine. No frills, just honest, flavorful dishes that might even appeal to non-golfers.

The infrastructure completes the experience: spacious changing rooms, a parking lot with charging facilities for electric cars (€3/hour – fair), and with the 2-for-1 green fee through Albrecht, the whole thing is available at a bargain price.

Of course, there are also some minor drawbacks: The greens weren't in top condition in some places – but that's just complaining at a high level. It gets crowded on holidays and weekends – so if you're looking for peace and quiet, you'd be better off playing during the week.

Conclusion: A course that does a lot right – technically exciting, scenically stunning, with a charming Italian finish. This course not only moves the ball, but also the golfer's heart. Anyone who doesn't get their money's worth here probably forgot their putter.
