There is no doubt that this is a challenging course. Natural obstacles creates intrigues sought after. Sometimes fairways are not in the best shapes, many times due to wild boares. Overall an experience to be made.

Holiday golf with small traces of rain

We spent our golf holiday at the Foresteria in the Colline del Gavi at the beginning of October 2025, playing mainly the yellow and blue 9 holes. Dogs are very welcome on the course, in the Foresteria, and in the restaurant.
Compared to our visit in June, the weather had left some traces – some bunkers were in need of repair, and some paths and bridges were slightly tilted. However, the fairways were playable, and, especially pleasingly, the greens on the yellow course were seeded with a new type of grass and are already looking quite attractive.
The hilly course with its interesting doglegs over ditches offers no boredom, even when played repeatedly.
The friendly reception staff, the brand-new electric cars in excellent condition, and the regional Piedmontese cuisine in the restaurant (limited but always freshly prepared) round out the overall package.
A special tip: Pro Luca offers first-class lessons in Italian or excellent English.
The Foresteria, the nearby driving range, service, and restaurant significantly enhance the course – a fine golf package for those seeking peace and quiet away from the bustling city.

Reception was very friendly, they spoke English and French.
Each hole is hilly, just as the entire course is hilly; carts are widely used.
The course is in good condition, although the fairways have a lot of weeds and the semi-rough is quite high, making it difficult to find the ball. We were told that this is normal in the region.
What was annoying, however, was that we weren't given anything to eat or drink after the round, as the only restaurant available was the one that didn't open until 8pm! We returned to the car with growling stomachs! There was nothing around either.
