Characteristics
The gently-sloped landscape close to the Lübeck Bay provides the terrain of this golf course with very diversified features. While the first holes are laid out on a very open and relatively level terrain, the terrain becomes more hilly from the 6th hole onwards. For this reason and due to the natural and artificial water hazards and bunkers, each fairway provides for a diversified game.

Beautiful place with surprising topography

Yesterday I had the pleasure of playing this course for the first time. As others have already described, the course has two faces. The topography from the seventh hole onwards is surprisingly hilly. The entire course is excellent, well-maintained and the rural style of the course/building is impressive. The reception and support was top-class and very friendly. Of the courses I have played in the area so far, this is the most beautiful course for me and belongs in my personal top 10. It won't be the last time I play this course.

We played the course at the beginning of June. Friendly welcome and little traffic. Tee boxes and fairs good, greens a bit slow but also good. Two faces. The first six holes, basically for warming up, flat and wide. Easy going. Then came the second face. Hills and valleys. Tricky and long holes alternated. Challenging. The course is fun. We liked this one the best of the courses in this region.

We played the course on June 4th, 2024. After many warnings, we treated ourselves to a cart. At first we thought "what's the cart for now?" But in the end we were quite happy to be able to drive this roller coaster with the cart. That way you could sometimes drive ahead quickly to see if the previous flight had already left. The course is nice to play despite its challenging topography. Very varied and in great condition. One star deducted because there was no catering that day. So we had to drive on with a sore throat and a growling stomach.
