Characteristics
A varied course is offered to the golfer. Broad fairways are alternating with small woods reminding to parks, water obstacles and well placed bunkers are a challenge for golfers of all handicaps.
The 27-hole-course is situated above the steep coast of Brodten (a nearby village of Travemünde). The spacious championship-course is extending over an area of 130 ha.
From various points the view is reaching to the coast line of Schleswig-Holstein and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The Lübeck-Travemünder Golf-Klub is proud of having one of the most beautiful driving-ranges in Germany direct above the steep coast offering a magnificent view over the Baltic Sea.
The Lübeck-Travemünder Golf-Klub was founded in 1921 and belongs to one of the oldest golfclubs in Germany. In 2014 our new-built clubhouse was completed, offering all modern facilities which guests and members can expect to feel well in a comfortable surrounding. A high quality restaurant, the “Restaurant Neunzehn”, is offering an exceptional “kitchen” of good and tasting meals. A well assorted pro-shop is completing the offer.

The most beautiful driving range in all of Germany and the best maintained facility I have seen in a long time. I can only warmly recommend it. And since there are no tee times, you are relatively free. The course is divided into 3x9 holes, and I liked the parkland course and the Baltic Sea course the best.

The course has 27 holes (3 x 9 holes), which can be freely selected as there are no start times. A is more open, B ends with 4 beautiful parkland holes and C is the former old golf course. Personally, I think B and C are the most beautiful because they have a high recognition value. The greens were fast and stable for Schleswig-Holstein conditions. The condition of the place was really nice.
The green fee is at the top of the range at €90, but it is actually worth the place.
Now to the buts: The office was not occupied on a Wednesday. The employee at the pro shop really tried hard, but paying for a game with a Schleswig Holstein card is at least difficult.
You don't use the toilet on site because you don't have a pin.
What was annoying was that we were accompanied by at least 1 greenkeeper for 18 holes, sometimes even by 3. It's a shame that the holes in Travemünde can't be mowed in descending order, then others would have benefited from it too. These 3 things led to the devaluation of the green fee called.
