Characteristics
The golf course is situated at the southern riverbank of the Schlei, only a few minutes by car away from Schleswig and Eckerförde. On an area of about 70 ha, with the bush and tree hedges that are typical for Schleswig-Holstein, with an old and young stock of trees and several pools, the course offers beautiful views into the great landscape.

I discovered this wonderful golf course thanks to Golf-Plus and I'm absolutely thrilled! The entire facility is in excellent condition, boasting varied, well-maintained fairways and a stunning setting. The restaurant is also a real highlight – friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere make for perfect moments of enjoyment after your round. All the staff are incredibly warm and attentive, making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. I can wholeheartedly recommend this course to every golf enthusiast – many thanks to Golf-Plus!

The 18-hole golf course is beautifully laid out. It's quite hilly, so you'll have beautiful views of the Schlei (an inlet of the Baltic Sea) from many elevated spots during your round. The fairways are lined with high rough, but the sufficiently wide fairways mean this should rarely come into play. However, the way the well-maintained fairways are framed by it is visually very pleasing.
There are numerous doglegs, dips, knolls, slopes, ponds, bunkers, and large greens. Combined with the views, a round of golf is never boring.
At the clubhouse you can sit on the terrace with a lovely view of the practice facilities and the green of hole 15 (par 3).
We visited the site with our motorhome. There's a very special feature here. To the right of the clubhouse, across the car park, you come to a large meadow marked for motorhomes. There's a fantastic spot with plenty of space, plenty of evening sun, and a side view of track 15 from the motorhome.
Overall, the golf course is highly recommended, especially for motorhome golfers, thanks to the great pitches (even though there's no electricity connection).

A varied course. At €80, the green fee was quite steep considering the current condition of the greens. The greens were quite slow and not very true to the line. Perhaps that was due to the fact that they had been aerated recently. It would certainly be a good course if the greens were in better condition.
