One of the most beautiful golf courses in Schleswig-Holstein is embedded into the park of the Altenhof manor with its population of old trees and its undulating landscape of fields, meadows, and forests. The layout of the course is really beautiful and varied. But the condition of the course. The greens on the first 9 are the slowest we have played in a long time. On the second 9 the green speed was completely different, very different on hole 17. The bunkers were extremely riddled with large stones and partially overgrown. The fairways consisted largely of dandelions and clover. There were also some completely shot up tees. If none of this bothers you, then fine, but unfortunately we found it to be very average. There are many better maintained courses in Schleswig Holstein.
