It's a beautiful course with stunning views. It's impeccably maintained, as is everything on and around the course. The greens are very undulating, making it very difficult to two-putt. The caddie gives precise instructions, but even then, it remains tricky, albeit challenging. This course, and the service and friendliness of the staff, deserve praise. Please note that you will be provided with a menu and drinks voucher.

Played the course at the beginning of February in pleasant temperatures. Condition was good, but not outstanding. The greens in particular were sometimes too dull and very different. The bunkers are predestined for pin shots because there is far too much sand in them. Fairways are generally very good, but due to a lot of movement the balls often find themselves in hollows that are covered in divots. If you play from blue you should have a lot of length as some fairways only start after about 200 m. Of course, the view of Halong Bay from some holes is unbeatable. That's fun, especially when you have caddies with you who not only understand their craft but were also able to explain a few things in surprisingly good English. We were probably lucky there. All in all, definitely worth it but not top class either.
