Relatively easy course with few obstacles. Fairways pretty tough. Thin grass in the roughs so finding balls is pretty easy. Beautiful sea views. All around a nice place!

The links courses in the East Lothian area are mostly characterized by being flat, parallel holes, hard fairways and fast greens, and often running very close to the Atlantic. In contrast to Links Course, where fairways are built in the middle of the hilly dunes, the challenge here seems less. Sometimes, especially when it's windy, that's deceptive. The place is still rather young in contrast to the many old-time facilities in the area, but you can only notice small things, all in all a great design place. Above all the Par 3's are all very beautiful, each hole has its own characteristics.
